Description: The blue tiled wall curves through the Heritage Garden, marking the space between the Margaret River Community Centre and Library.

The tiles are ceramic, cast in moulds made from the original hand sculpted models.

The artist brought the patterns, colours and gentle wave of the ocean to the centre of town with this sculpted wall.

Description: Commissioned by FINBAR. This work takes as its inspiration the movement light breezes on the adjoining water bodies, making the changing surface glisten and reflect the sky. The artwork form is both vessel and sail like, whilst its surface is reminiscent of the water surface.

Description: The bronze Gumnut Babies are based on the characters Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie created by May Gibbs in the 1930s. May Gibbs, a popular author of children’s books, attributed the creation of the Gumnut Babies to her memories of Western Australia’s wild flowers. Her aim was to encourage a love of the Australian bush in children.

Decommissioned Status: This artwork now falls into the boundary of City of Nedlands.

Description: The artwork commemorates the presence of individuals who affected Nedlands’ origins along its foreshores and elsewhere.

It features a large copper-coloured star form, six metre in the air, symbolising both astronomical navigation and points on the compass to acknowledge Meg Sheen, a past Councillor of both the City of Nedlands and Subiaco and the organiser of many arts and cultural events.
